Lesson Curriculum

Lessons are offered for all levels, from beginners to advanced players,

and we have a wide range of students, including elementary school children, teenagers, and adults.

Jazz, Blues, Funk, Rock, Heavy Metal
Additionally, lessons are available for Pop, K-pop, and 7080 music, covering any genre you desire.

I provide the highest quality and most in-depth lessons in LA.

For acoustic guitar, lessons go beyond simple chord accompaniment, focusing on high-level techniques

and musical completeness.

I teach based on the most trendy and up-to-date theories, techniques, and materials,

rather than outdated methods.

Through know-how that enhances the quality of performance,

the lessons emphasize refined playing techniques.

I help students stand out in their church praise teams, clubs, and school groups.

If desired, I can also integrate music theory and harmony with guitar lessons,

as well as provide guidance on various composing, video, and recording techniques, including Logic Pro X.

Q&A

Q: How are the lessons conducted?
A: Lessons are one-on-one private sessions and usually last about 50 minutes.

Q: In which language are the lessons conducted?
A: Lessons can be conducted in both Korean and English.

Q: How long will it take to play a song I want?
A: It depends on how much the student practices, but for beginners,

I can help you play a song just by reading the sheet music in about 3 months.

Q: How do I pay for the lessons?
A: The lesson fee can be paid in cash, by debit card, or by credit card. (A 5% processing fee is added for credit card payments.)

Q: Are beginners welcome?
A: Of course, beginners are always welcome.

Q: Can I take lessons if I don't have a guitar?
A: Unlike sports like golf, swimming, or tennis, where you can somewhat mimic the motions in a short time, learning an instrument requires personal practice. You will need your own instrument for effective practice. If you don't have a guitar yet, I can recommend a decent practice guitar in the range of $200-$300.

Q: Should I learn electric guitar or acoustic guitar?
A: It doesn't really matter. If you want to play electric guitar, you can start with that.

I also started with electric guitar.

Q: Can I observe a lesson or have a consultation before deciding?
A: Since lessons are private, observing a class is not possible in consideration of the students' privacy.

For consultations, I charge $40 for 30 minutes.

Additionally, if a lesson cannot be attended due to the student's personal reasons, refunds will not be issued.

[Monthly Subscription Lessons]

For those receiving monthly lessons, it is possible to reschedule or make up one lesson (within the 4 lessons per month) without adjusting the date or making up the entire week.
